Christ In The Coffee Shop: A Man Was Changed Today

coffee 3

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

So I am sitting here in a Tim Horton's having a coffee and doing some work. There was a man sitting at a table near me. He appeared to be between 60-65 years of age. It didn’t take long before I felt the Holy Spirit moving and knew that this man’s life would be changed today. I didn’t know how but I always know what this feelings means and I have learned to trust it. I felt Holy Spirit speak to me saying “ Say nothing, he will turn to speak to you”.

So of course I just did as The Lord instructed and I said nothing and just carried on with my work. The man went away and I totally forgot all about him. But when he re-appeared about 2 hours later later, I immediately remembered what the Lord told me and so still I said nothing and continued in my work and reading my Bible.

All of a sudden, I heard a voice speaking. I looked up and sure enough it was the man and he speaking to me, just as the Lord said. The man directed my eyes to the weather because it was suddenly snowing quite a bit and completely out of nowhere. We proceeded engaged in some small talk which presented its challenges because his English was not as strong as his Cantonese, he told me.

My eyes were then directed to a cigarette that was sticking out of his hat and that he kept touching with his fingers. I led to impress upon him how important it is that he quits; that he must break that addiction. In obedience, I told him that smoking was very bad for him and for his life. He smiled, shrugged his shoulders in agreement but with little visible conviction. But I could feel that the Holy Spirit was just getting started with this man.

I was then led to ask the man if He knows that God loves him? Shocking to me, he seemed rather surprised by this question. I then told him that God surely does love him; and very much.

It was then that I saw it!  Right then and there I saw it; The blessing that the Lord gave to me on this day came in the most beautiful child-like smile of a complete and total stranger. The man was actually blushing. He blushed like that of a 5 year boy who had just been told how very special he is. That smile was absolutely breath-taking.

With his heart-warming smile still beaming through his face, the man then turned and quietly asked me the most unexpected question. He said “How do you know?” I honestly wasn’t prepared for that and so I quietly inquired of the Holy Spirit to direct me and to lead me into how I should answer this precious soul who was now leaning in to know The Truth. His question was first met with a smile, I looked directly in his eyes and the response he received was simply  “I just do”.  In that moment I literally felt the love of the Lord for a complete and total stranger. I knew in that moment that if even my natural eyes were to never see this man again, that a divine connection had been made right then and there.

So now with his face still beaming with joy, I was led to say this “ And you know what? The Lord wants you to know it too”. And in his strong cantonese accent he said “ Oh, you are a smart lady”. I replied, “The credit is not mine. It belongs to The Lord.  It is the knowledge and wisdom that the He shares with us when we know Him and He wants you to know Him too”.

By the end of our 20 minute encounter to which the Holy Spirit ministered His Love to the heart of this man, he took the cigarette out of his hat and boldly broke it into several peices and with a conviction brought on by the strength of God Almighty. The man then stood up declared “No more, I quit”.

People, God is working in such effective and miraculous ways. The man in the coffee shop is named Andy. I ask that you all come in agreement and pray for Andy. Pray in Jesus’ Name that the right people will be placed in his path; people who will continue to minister to him; That he may come to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be led into greater Truth and salvation in The Lord. For the absolute glory of God.

If anyone ever wonders why those of us devote our lives to serving in a Ministry of the Lord,  it could simply be explained in just one simple sentence…  “Because God happens to thinks that the life of a man named Andy, sitting alone in a coffee shop, is worth it.” And guess what people? He just so happens to think that YOU are worth it too. I for one am very thankful that He does.

We thank you Lord and we love you. Praise be to your name.

I hope this blesses someone today.

Love & Blessings - My name is Kristine Lara Sebastian, Founder and Ministerial Steward of Rise N’ Shine Ministries.; An Outreach, Teaching and Re-Training Ministry under The Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord knows who he is sending us to sit with and how He will minister to them. I have been thoroughly blessed by encounters like the one I had with Andy. Many of them taking places in coffee shops, just like the one where I met him. For some, the Lord has used me to plant a seed. For others, the Holy Spirit has led me to hold their hands and lead them into a prayer of Salvation where they come to recieve Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.  Oh What A Blessing!

The Lord is placing Rise N’ Shine Ministries directly in the face of people; to locate and minister to hearts of those who will receive Him. I am throroughly blessed to be chosen as a vessel to do this important work of the Lord. There is absolutely nothing greater than serving in the Kingdom of God. Praise Be to His Name.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; “

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: We are surely coming to know and understand first-hand, all that it will costs to embark and succeed on this walk in Christ. We Have been made to walk through many valleys of the shadow of death, emboldened by Love & Truth and each step directed by The way of The Lord through His Holy Spirit. Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: strategic efforts which employ a host of coercion and pressure tactics have been implemented and executed for the specific purpose of making those of us in christ, derail, give in and turn away from our faith in god’s sovereignty and instead look to them in the world for refuge and sustenance. They cleverly & insidiously move and conspire to strip from us everyONE and everyTHING that we hold most dear. Job 2:9-10 – “Then his (Job) wife said to him, ‘Do you still hold fast to your integrity?  Curse God and die!’  But he said to her, ‘You speak as one of the foolish women would speak.  Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?’  In all of this Job did not sin with his lips.”  To We, The Peculiar People, the trials of Job, they are also happening to us today so Whatever you may have to go through, do not turn away from The Truth. Do not doubt The Word. The Lord is seeing us through. Just believe Him and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. You’re getting through this. We are all getting through this, together. You can always locate peace and freedom in the truth of The Word. The Lord is in full control.

Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: With each one of us, It will appear for a time, that they are acheiving tremendous levels of perceived success because of our exposure to their extreme sadistic measures. Psalm 21:11 Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. Rest assured - This is only temporary because we are in the fold of the good shepherd.  We are His peculiar flock of sheep and we are kept safe and secure in the hands of the God Almighty. Take refuge in the loving and trusting arms of The Lord.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: But Make no mistake Oh peculiar people, That part of their methodical plan will hurt quite a bit. In Fact, This part hurts a lot. How long it hurts will depend a great deal on you and how much you are able to surrender all of the hurt and pain to The Lord. You must Release it; all of it - And do not Identify with it. Disassociate with it. It does not belong to you. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.The pain you experience will continue until only after you have begun to understand that this is exactly what it was designed to do. That’s right, this part of their plan is literally designed to Hurt like hell. The reason is simple. It is so that you will become extremely self-centred to the point where you can only focus on the pain you experience. further, it is also designed make you become bitter, depressed hateful and angry. It is designed to break you; to shatter your heart into a million peices and beyond repair. It is also designed to make you turn to them, to their instititions and to their systems for dependency. It is designed to place you in bondage and to control you. They are counting on the pain becoming so great that your spirit will eventually break and you will seek their wordly counsel, aid and solutions for relief. Whatever you do, DO NOT fall into this trap. Stay with the Lord and only move according to the leading of the holy spirit.  The quicker the Holy Spirit can move you through this stage, the better And then the sooner The Lord will be able to use you for greater kingdom purposes.  Ceaselessly turn to the lord for healing, for strengthening, for comfort and for understanding. There is much you will learn as you move through this part. When you turn to the lord, The holy spirit begins to help you realize that it not exactly personal, even though those personal to you are the ones being used to come against you. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  What is happening is much bigger than you realize and the battle is taking place on a much larger landscape than we can see. It can only be explained spiritual. much has to be revealed. This Is a real but futile war against Christ, our Lord and saviour. We are His Body. We have taken up our cross for his sake. Jesus, our Lord and Saviour is our Commander In Chief; we are his Soldiers. It Is He who is fights on our behalf and who has already won the victory for us. It is only for us to believe.

Army or the Lord RNSM circle

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: This is all about the coming of Christ. you, peculiar people are His body/temple and you are quite simply under attack from by a Anti-Christ (or fallen) agenda. So, yes, you may experience those you love falling away from you, one by one, taking with them what has proved to only be a “conditional” support system that you had once believed was a sure.  But Do not despair. You are in the surest and most secure place of all with lord. Stay there with him no matter how bad it hurts. The pain is just temporary. The Lord knows exactly what you going through and exactly what you need. You are in training and This will be your greatest test. Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. This is where you must stay completely in The Word and trust God. The holy Spirit is now leading you into greater truth and so this is where you now begin to really understand things like never ever before. Do not give up. Use wisdom in all things and allow the love of the holy spirit to comfort you, to teach you, to guard you and protect you during this time of great turbulence and trial in your life. This is where you must surrender more. This is where you must surrender all. Understand that a spiritual shift has taken place in the realm of the spirit. In the moment your eyes began to open,  a carefully devised plan of execution was immediately set in motion. In fact, left as a sign of confirmation, Jesus warns us peculiar little flock that this is what would happen to us. He told us that we would be persecuted for standing up for the sake of Truth, for the sake of love and for the sake of Loyalty to The Kingdom of God; We are the Peculiar People being crucified For Christ’s Sake. Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  In our times of weakness many have come to deceive us in efforts to derail us from our path. They tempt us and try to confuse us. They set up to feed us with false doctrine in order to persuade our virtues to their unrighteous will. They will use whatever power, title, authority and influence to pressure us into following their ways and not the ways of The Lord. Matthew 4:8-10 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.” They will employ tactics of coercion, fear, rejection and abandonment; anything to make us follow their voice and turn from the voice of the Holy Spirit; The One who leads us into All Truth. Remember, Our bodies are the temple for the Lord. So the measures used against us will surely weaken our body/temple and cause us to stumble but please do not despair. At every turn, go to the lord; surrender and fall down on your knees in prayer and submission. God will minister to you through the Holy Spirit. He will strenghthen you and heal you. He is always leading us back onto the path. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: We will be on the receiving end of all manner of evil for The Lord’s sake; for standing boldly and firmly in The Truth. Evil has and will come against us in a way like nothing we have experienced before. This is because the one that truly follows The Lord will refuse to compromise with The enemy; Not even a little and not even to save his own life; for we know that only in Christ have we already found salvation.  John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. In the moment we took up our cross for the Lord, we chose never to come into agreement with darkness, so then those agents of evil will come to know only rebuke from us.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  They hate us for the strength of The Lord that is in us; He gives us strength to resist them and causes them to flee. For in us lives the power of the Holy and Righteous Spirit of God; The righteous one who has risen up and continues to rise up to overcome them, time and time again. This is why hate us. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  We have now officially become the object of their destruction. Through every false judgement, vilification, rejection and abandonment, we must find ourselves down on our knees in prayer at the feet of the Lord. When things get tough, We will surely find ourselves in humility, questioning our own selves , but never God because we know that His judgement is perfect and we trust Him in all things. In our desert of solitude and isolation, we will find ourselves crying out in anguish and concern, repenting and seeking forgiveness for our sins. We understand the importance of repentence and obedience and we must actively guard against falling into  self-righteousness & pride.  The thought of causing pain to our Father pain or disappointment is unbearable for us peculiar ones. This is because of the love and gratitue we personally know for Him is ever so great.  Find yourself in ceaseless submission,  seeking, hoping, desiring only His approval and delight. We must pray diligently asking for greater wisdom and increased discernment. Our service to the kingdom must only be according to His understanding and not by our own. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your hear and lean not on your own understanding . In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  We know the deafening sound of loneliness and even still we choose to live apart from them. We prefer the density of solitude and isolation rather than the company of the weak and superficial who find cause in the continual partaking of ilolatry and other unclean indulgences. 2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  Despite all that they will try to do to us, we will only ever know Love in your hearts for them, even those who betray us and curse us with their tongue. Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute youWe understand and experience in Truth, that the very Love we hold for them is why our hearts have been scourged abrasively by the rough surfaces and conditions of their stony hearts and that this is what has caused the intensity of the pain we have suffered, even for their sake and for the Glory of God.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  The unthinkable cruelty, selfishness and hatred we have suffered for living steadfast by The Word of God is unimaginable but still we endure. Our strength we find in Jesus.  It is in our presence, that those self-serving unrepentant hearts can no longer have the comfort and insulation of their wrongdoings  being completely hidden from view because now they Know that we can fully see the darkness that resides in them. Consequently, they would seek to destroy the Truth in us rather than give up the flesh-feeding beast within that the holy spirit has fully exposed to even them, through us. Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.  And so now, they can no longer feign innocence and neither will their own efforts of self-denial adequately conceal it. They have been duly exposed.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  This is why you have been hated. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. The light of The Lord you walk with exposes the evil in them; an wickedness that survives only by hiding in darkness. They have no understanding of your light except that within you is the ability to resist, overcome, and expose them and their acts. John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  It is the reflection repugnant and imperfect image of themselves that they will now be forced to look at in the light of The Truth that shines through us, by way of the Holy Spirit. They need only to repent.

So Now We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus: We must now understand that unless they humbly admit to their sins and to the wickedness of their ways; Unless they fall down to the feet of Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords and repent for their evil doings, that in every encounter they have with us,they will be forced to come face to face with the imperfect unholy reflection of the darkness that lives inside of them, For they know you know the Truth of their wicked ways. We overcame them in spite of their efforts to scheme and plot against us. For the prideful and unrepentant, this becomes far too much to bear. So they will move to conspire against us, yet again and more agressively this time. Psalm 31:13 For I have heard the slander of many, Terror is on every side; While they took counsel together against me, They schemed to take away my life. They will seek to find or fabricate cause to convict us and they will rejoice in our demise.

We, A Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  Simply by looking at what they did to Jesus, we can fully understand the lengths at which they are willing to go to destroy us. In the case of our Lord, they ordered the release of a murderer; a deadly spirit unbound unto their own hate, and in whom they readily embraced into their midst to further embolden them to kill, crucify and bury the Truth that is Jesus Christ; our saviour who gave us life, and who willingly died for our sins and then through the power demonstrated in the resurrection, he rose again so that all who believes in him may inherit life everlasting. Through The Holy Spirit, His Power now abides in you. Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

We, A Chosen and Peculiar People Walking With Jesus:  We must Keep listening to Him and following the voice of the Holy Spirit. John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. We Are Loved and we are hand-chosen, by The Lord.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name. A Peculiar People We Are Indeed

Lesson Learned In The Gap

IMG 6145

I recently read a post from a friend who offered encouraging words around letting go of negativity.

And so his words got me thinking about some of my recent experiences of facing what felt like an unbearable process of having to let go of pain or of people who presented as negative in my own life. Here is some valuable insights I have been blessed to discover...

Having to let go of negativity, particularly when it’s packaged in or around those people with whom we hold great love for,  is much much easier said than done. At times we are forced to do this when life calls upon us to take a stand for Truth, for Love and for Justice. It is in these moments that we are called to demonstrate “who we are” and what we stand for, in relationship to those around us including those we hold most dear.  When faced with the toughest of these circumstances and battles, the highest position we can take is to place ourselves in the space where only Truth, Justice and Love will ultimately win out as the victor through those battles.

In those painful situations when we experience Love, Truth and/or Justice being sacrificed for something of a lower value, we ourselves must rise to the arduous challenge of selflessly and virtuously placing our own selves “In The Gap" as I call it. For the sake of these three most important virtues, we must faithfully surrender ourselves so as to allow Love and Truth to use us with all of the strength inherent in them both.  We must be prepared to willingly and courageously stand alone in unpopular spaces and unfamiliar territory.

In the very moment place ourselves in the gap, we will surely be met with both opposition and adversity in the form of some very harsh storms. But for the faithful one who chooses to stand up as a pillar to be used as buffer against those devastating storm, there is ever so much to be gained.

You see it is only in “The Gap” that the greatest and the most profound lessons in Love, Truth and Divine Justice are truly revealed and can ultimately be learned.

Christ Is Our Strength. May God bless all those who are reading this.

It’s Your Time to Rise N Shine,  All For The Glory of God.

Sandals on Ice? Some Shoes Just Aren’t Fit For Your Walk

Sandals On Ice?Whether it is ice or sand that you are standing on, make sure your feet are adequately protected. Trust the Lord in all conditions.

There are a few fundamentals that all Christians know to be true. We know that The Lord is our Salvation. We know that to prepare The Way for us to be saved, in Love, Christ had to willfully and sacrificially overcome this death with dunamis power that is demonstrated in the resurrection. The Bible shows for us that Jesus’s life as a man was lived with uncompromising Truth, faithfulness, obedience and unwaivering Love.  In John 14:6,  The Lord said "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” This means we believe in him follow the blueprint given to us through His written Word and by way of The Holy Spirt.

With that ground covered, there is something that needs to be addressed to the true body of Christ; something that continued to get in the way of us truly operating as a unified body.  The church is lacking true empathy - We still fail to put ourselves in another shoes; This requires compassion and a willingness to heal the body as a whole.  For us to finally arrive at a place of healing and unification, we must push ourselves to understand the challenges faced by our fellow brothers and sisters in this walk.   When fail to see each other’s needs, we are not able to support each other. Without the ability to feel the pain occuring in another area of the body,  that member suffers without anyone ever knowing to what extent. It is important for us to realize that we are a body of people that requires tremendous healing from a very demonic system that has operated this cruel harsh world that we have been subjected it. People In Christ, We need each other now more than ever.

Stop making assumptions. Often times, when one of us has found a solution to problem in our individual life, we conclude that discovered the secret answer for every one else in the body. I have witnessed this time and time again.  It is true that we are one body however just like with the human body, each organ or part has a unique function. The cells in the skin or panceas is to the cells that make up the heart.  For each member of the body to work together as unit, we need to understand and respect that each member is uniquely made and must be independently regulated The Holy Spirit who is the life force that moves the entire body as one. The church as many bullies; persons who attempts to forcewhat works for them,  as doctrine for all. But this is NOT how it works. Yes, the body needs each member but ultimately it must be The Holy Spirit that determines our specific answers for life.  The Holy Spirit direct us into Truth and therefore into right solutions. All we are required to do is trust and obey .

So lets take a look at Fred & Wilma, a real married Christian couple living in a beautiful municipality known as Bedrock and whose names have been fittingly changed for the purpose of this writing. For reasons centred around their unique work schedules and other personal demands, Fred and Wilma have discovered how having their own sleeping areas is an ideal solution that works for them.  Remember what I said about making assumptions? Well let me begin by saying that Fred & Wilma’s marriage is very strong. It is filled with great love and respectful.  Could this be because of they have separate quarters? Well, the answer to this is yes … and no.  Okay et me explain: The strength of Fred & William’s marriage is not because of any one thing they are doing; Rather, it is in their mutual respect and understanding of each other’s needs as most importantly their obedience and trust in the The Lord to direct them.

Research shows that there has actually been a sharp rise in married couples sleeping in separate bedrooms. In fact, it has become so common that real estate agents have noticed an upswing in people looking to purchase homes that have two master-bedroom suites . I am writing this piece to show that what may work for one person in Christ may not be the solution for another.  Now that being said,  what would happen if Fred & Wilma arrived a conclusion that sleeping in separate rooms works should be the that way every other married couple should live? What if they convinced themselves that they had somehow discovered the hidden secret to ensuring a successful marriage in Christ?  I am certain they would be met with much resistance. Fred & Wilma effectively put into place a solution that works perfectly for them in their household.; determined through wisdom and practicality to meet their individual needs, demanding schedules and ministerial responsibilities.

This is a great example that demonstrates how something that may work for one may not work for another.  What’s good for the goose is not necessily good for the gander.  Since Fred & Wilma understands this, you will not find them trying to make all couple live their way.  Here’s another reason why:

Fred & Wilma trust the Word as laid out in the Bible and as revealed by The Holy Spirit.  As such their union in marraige is sealed and protected under the Lord.  They are both strong ministers, teachers and leaders in the body of Christ and they speak quite openly about their life, their marriage and their walk with The Lord; both individually and together as man and wife.  The transparency and willingness of Fred and Wilma to share their walk is very refreshing. They do not profess to have all the answers but their love for one another is solid and throughly blessed. Fred & Wilma acutely understand that theirs is a sure walk, together in the Lord;  a walk destined to serve hand-in-hand, united and for the highest purpose of serving as one body, in the Kingdom of God. Their lives as well as their marraige is led by The Holy Spirit. They are a wonderful example of how when we trust in the Lord, we cannot go wrong.  Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. For this reason, Fred & Wilma’s marraige is and will continue to stand the test of time; Their love endures in The Lord.

So now you may be asking, what does this have to do with Sandals On Ice -  Well it took me a while to get here but I am about to tell you right now.

Unlike this couple referenced above, there are many in the body of Christ ( albeit well intended ), who make the harmful mistake of trying to impose their “way of living” on the rest of the body.  There are bullies in the church and many are in the standing in at the pulpit. These persons are very harmful to the body.  Too are often being used and operated by a religious spirit set out to destroy the true church judge. Many true servants of the Lord have been demonized by church attendees for not be following a communal path. They are accused and vilified because they are seen as marching to beat of their own drum.  Folks, we must be very careful not to be inflenced into wrongful judgements and accusations of the true body as can have major negative and devasting affects on a lives of fellow servant of the Lord who is obediently and faithfully walking on their chosen path as set out by the Lord. We must ensure that we have completed our due diligence in attempting to understand why a person walks in the way that they do, otherwise we could end up with blood on our hands by hanging an innocent man/woman in Christ. There is a real enemy out there who has operation is set by getting inside of the body through mass infiltration and pollution. This is why we must seek the Lord for greater awareness, insight and revelation.

We can also learn to communicate with one another to gain knowledge of the ground the Lord has them standing on to better understand why they may be wearing boots instead of sandals.

Imagine yourself at the beach.  Here it would make sense that you might be barefoot or have sandals on your feet.  Conversely if someone is in Antartica, Imay be walking on hard, cold ice and would likely be wearing warm boots.  There are some of us who have been walking on cold hard ice and to ensure that our feet are adequately protected against the harsh elements we are facing on our path.  The sandals you are wearing wouldn’t protect someone in cold weather. Many person who has been standing on harsh and treacherous ground are often subjected to wrongful judgments, criticisms and accusations because are the only one wearing boots in the midst everyone else who is rightlyfully wearing sandals.  As Christian, we may be worshipping in the same building but our specific battlegrounds may be entirely different. And because we have failed to understand this, we inflict pain on one other through our judgements. We make the repeated and horrible mistake of vilifying the sheep; innocent ones who are faithfully walking in direct obedience to the Holy Spirit.

I have been boot-wearer for almost three years now. I have heard many sandals-wearers talking amongst themselves, complaining, judging and even condemning me as they point their misinformed self-righteous fingers, looking down on me and my boots.  Having little to no spiritual understanding outside of their of the scope of their own myopic walk,  the sandle-wearers foolishly shake their heads, wondering why others anyone would “ choose” to wear boots in the hot sand.  Ask yourself if you have been one of these people in your church, family or assembly. If so, I caution you have only placing your own self in judgement. Here’s why:  While you are turning your nose down at your fellow brothers or sisters who is fighting their own good and challenging fight in the Lord,  you could better serve them Kingdom by caring even just a little bit.

Take a closer - as you stand there looking down on on them for what I must wear,  look at all that is beneath my feet.  With a cleaner heart, you might have been able to see where was I have been standing all along.  You might have been to see all that I stand for.  Before you make the terrible mistake of wrongfully judging another man or woman of God again, first be willing to roll up your sleeves and put yourself in their shoes.  It may be your only chance gain a true appreciation for bitterness and cold of the hard ice I been standing in all along; Conditions created in part by you and ultimately overcome in Truth and in Love, for you.

Imagine what might have happened to the one standing on the ice if he/she was merely a respecter of men? What would have become of them if they abandoned the wisdom and leading of the One who appropriately dresses them and instead as you would had them What tragedies may have happened in the life of a person  if their desire to “ fit it” with you becomes stronger than their will to serve in obedience to The Lord leading? What might happened to such a person who is standing on the ice if they had decided to trade in their warm protective boots for sandals? What would have happened if Jesus allowed opinions and judgements such as yours to win out in the end? A tragic and painfully high price that would have been just to meet with the approval of the ignorant and the arrogant. I am grateful that our Lord Jesus Christ shows me the Way. I am grateful that Our Lord, knew to ignore the opinions of others and so that He could stay on the path of Salvation. You too should be very grateful the He knew whose voice to listen to and whose voice to follow.

Far too often is exactly what happens to our body. We must now stand up to operate better and greater than we ever have before. Many in the body are still somewhat blind and lack real insight and genuine compassion. In Christ, our eyes must surely become open by His Love so that we can finally see Truth. We must be willing to take a moment to pause and look through these lenses of Love and Truth to adequately understand the environment that each member of this body is facing. We must stop making wrongful assumptions about and duly support one another in the way a “real” family was designed to operate The Kingdom Way; reflecting the fruits of the Spirit.

As the true members the  body of Christ must now take time to seek clear understanding of each other.  We must continue let go of your own understanding and surrender to the understanding as revealed to us by ONLY the Holy Spirit.

We must learn to truly love one another with the Love of Christ.  Ultimately it is The Lord who knows what each of us are going through and the conditions of the ground we are standing on. He dresses us with the appropriate apparel and armour to withstand the battles He is fighting with and for us.  Rest assured,  when there is ice on our battleground, it will surely be boots He will have us wear. Sandals are to worn on the sand.

So now, my fellow brothers and sister in The Lord - the next time you see one of your siblings wearing boots please be willing to lean in and take a closer look. Then in compassion, extend your hand.  Seeing the truth of another persons’ struggle positions in place to serve greater. You may be the very hand that can make the all difference in whether or not they get through a tiresome and lonely battle. They boot-wearer among us many never be the one to tell you this but some of those icy battles they are fighting, could very well a fight they have been commissioned to fighting, to save you.

People of God, we cannot expect love and compassion from our enemies. Therefore as the “true” members of the body of Christ, we must step in and step up. We must commit outselves being better at loving one another.  “ …Thy Kingdom come , Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Glory be to God.

In Truth, In Love; In Jesus Name.

Stop and Smell The… Dandelions?

 “ The Inspired Letter  ”

Stop and smell the … Dandelions?

If you’re anything like me, you may have early childhood memories of feeling excited when you would step outside and see all of those beautiful bright yellow flowers all around you. The dandelion just seemed to endlessly flourish in abundance. I would pick them, smell them and admire the natural beauty of them that my eyes were able to clearly see. I held much anticipation imagining how happy my mother might be to receive this most beautiful bouquet that I was hand picking especially for her. I could always look forward to seeing the yellow bouquet in a cup of water on the kitchen counter or window sill. My bouquet seemed to just brighten up whatever room they were in and so therefore my world when I saw them.

I Have very earlier memories yet they still bring me joy when I focus my thoughts on them.

Why do children love the dandelion so much? Could it be more about what the dandelion represents to untrained eyes and to the untainted experience of an innocent child who only can see natural beauty and the overflowing source of abounding joy around them? All I know is that the dandelion brought me so much joy as a child. To me, it was the most beautiful flower until someone told me it was a weed. A weed? What's a weed? The name itself did not sound very pleasing. I learned that weeds are bad and that my beautiful, bright yellow joy-giving flower is nothing more than a bad, pesky, annoying weed. I can recall this shift in perspective was somewhat difficult for my young and then blissfully naive mind to process. So My beautiful flower is not even a flower at all they told me, it’s nothing more than a bothersome, ugly weed.

So I stopped picking them, I stopped smelling them. Eventually I would stop noticing them altogether. If only I could find a way to get my mom a bouquet of red roses to make up for the countless bouquet of annoying weeds I had been giving her all along.

I see now that my appreciation for the dandelion had changed but that nothing at all had changed about the dandelion itself. Something had changed within me. My perception about what should be deemed beautiful had been altered.

Decades later, the dandelion grows as it has, bright and abundant just as it did when I was a kid. They continue to grow and brighten the days of countless young children who still sees beauty at face value regardless of its name.

I have had to make many changes since those early days. I've had to rediscover my appreciation for not only the dandelion but for many things I had lost as a child. It takes time and focused intention to unlearn some things. It's not easy but it can be done. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Today , I can honestly say that when I drive by an open field, I absolutely LOVE to see all those bright yellow dandelions again. I take notice of them and they are bright, they are interesting and as as beautiful to me as they were back then.

The next time I pass by an open field, I may just stop and pick one up to admire it. That one will have to be the first of the bouquet that I will hand pick for my mother so many years later. Yes, I think I may do just that.

"Perhaps it is the love received from the innocence of children that makes the dandelion grow.”

Glory Be To God.
